"We wanted to update our 90's kitchen, but didn't know who to call. After reading the reviews for Salcans and meeting with Pavel, we decided to have them do the work for us. We had never done a remodeling project and Pavel was very helpful and patient. He had many good suggestions and helped us pick out materials..."
"Pavel and Avel were great contractors! They remodeled our bathroom quickly and it looks beautiful. I especially appreciate how they balanced working quickly and tried to be minimally invasive in our home. Tile work is one part of the larger bathroom remodels we do, and this Vancouver, WA project is a good example for Gresham homeowners considering a tiled shower. A new walk-in shower was finished in Floresta Verde tile, with a glass enclosure and new flooring around it.
The existing shower had to be demolished and redesigned before any tile could go in. The owners wanted a dependable, good-looking shower and a bathroom that felt cleaner overall.
Consultation (1 day): We talked through tile selection, shower layout, and the surrounding finishes, and passed along a few ideas to improve the result.
Prep and demolition (3 days): We sealed off the master bedroom and cleared out the old shower, vanity, mirrors, toilet, and storage. The tile and other materials were already on hand.
Installation (3 weeks): Rough plumbing and electrical were done first, then the shower was waterproofed and tiled. New flooring, cabinets, countertop, mirror, lights, and fixtures finished the room before the final inspection.
Quality control: Daily photo logs for the owners, with an independent inspection of the plumbing rough-ins.
