"I used Salcans to replace an old and UGLY tile shower upstairs and replace a toilet. Pavel and Avel had great ideas to help me maximize the space in my small shower. They were flexible with scheduling to minimize disruptions to the household..."
"We wanted to update our 90's kitchen, but didn't know who to call. After reading the reviews for Salcans and meeting with Pavel, we decided to have them do the work for us. We had never done a remodeling project and Pavel was very helpful and patient. He had many good suggestions and helped us pick out materials..."
"Pavel and Avel were great contractors! They remodeled our bathroom quickly and it looks beautiful. I especially appreciate how they balanced working quickly and tried to be minimally invasive in our home. During the remodel we had a 7 month old and they did their best not to up set her with their work. ..."
"I had a great experience using Salcans LLC. They were an amazing and friendly team. They installed a new shower door in my upstairs bathroom that I had ordered online from Home Depot. They were responsive to my initial message and easy to schedule the installation date..."
Here is a full kitchen remodel we completed just across the Columbia River from Portland, in Vancouver, WA. A medium-sized kitchen was rebuilt with dark shaker cabinets, quartz counters, a tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, and new lighting.
The owners were living with cramped cabinets, dated laminate counters, and a dim room. They wanted a modern kitchen with room to prep, store, and cook comfortably.
Planning (1 day): We reviewed layout, materials, and finishes with the owners and added a few suggestions to make the kitchen work better day to day and hold its value.
Demolition (2 days): Adjoining rooms were sealed to control dust, and the old cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and appliances were removed. The homeowners supplied their materials ahead of time.
Construction (3 weeks): We ran rough plumbing and electrical, hung the new cabinets, installed templated quartz tops and the tile backsplash, then set appliances, lights, and fixtures before the final inspection.
Quality control: Daily photo updates went to the owners, and an outside inspector checked the plumbing and electrical rough-ins.
