This full kitchen remodel was completed in Vancouver, WA. It shows how we run a kitchen project from the first walkthrough to the final inspection, the same way we do for Gresham homeowners. The owners chose dark shaker cabinets, light quartz countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and brighter lighting for a medium-sized kitchen.
The old kitchen had dark wood cabinets, laminate countertops, and too little light, so the room felt tight and dated. The owners wanted more usable counter space, storage that worked, and a cleaner look.
Plan (1 day): We walked the space with the owners, talked through cabinet style, countertop material, and finishes, and suggested layout ideas that would help the kitchen work better and hold its value.
Demolition (2 days): The adjoining rooms were sealed off to keep dust contained, then the old cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and appliances came out. The owners had their materials ready, so there was no waiting.
Build (3 weeks): Plumbing and electrical rough-in came first. Then came new cabinets, templated quartz countertops, the tile backsplash, appliances, lighting, fixtures, and a final inspection.
Quality control: The owners received a daily photo log, and an outside inspector checked the plumbing and electrical rough-ins.
