Our client reached out to us and asked us for a full kitchen remodel in Gresham, OR, in their single-family home. They wanted an open-concept layout with a large island, custom shaker cabinets, and quartz countertops, and they needed new appliances, a tile backsplash, updated lighting, and the rest of the kitchen to be remodeled and renovated.
The homeowner wanted their outdated, closed-off kitchen to be opened up and redesigned, with a larger island for cooking and entertaining, improved lighting, and a clean, modern look. The existing layout had inefficient cabinet storage and a narrow galley-style footprint that made the kitchen feel cramped.
Inspect & plan (1 day): They told us how they want their island layout, cabinet style, and overall kitchen to look with what materials. We also gave some suggestions to boost their kitchen's function and flow. Preparation and Demolition (3 days): We covered adjoining rooms and made sure dust would not spread, and began the demolition phase, removing old cabinets, countertops, appliances, and flooring. The client already had materials ready to go. Remodel Work / Construction (3 weeks): rough plumbing/electrical, install cabinetry & island, countertop & backsplash tile, new flooring, appliances, lighting & fixtures, finish & inspection. Quality control: Daily photo logs for the homeowner; third-party inspection for plumbing and electrical rough-ins.
